Whimsical, Timeless Lakeside Summer Wedding at Integrity Hills
Julia envisioned her wedding as an amazing, fun, and easygoing weekend surrounded by her closest family and friends. Her dream was to create a celebration filled with special moments that would leave lasting memories for everyone.
For their big day, Julia and her Groom chose a lakeside wedding at Integrity Hills, Big Cedar Lodge, in Ridgedale, Missouri. Being from the lake area, Julia wanted to embrace the natural beauty of the outdoors, blending it seamlessly into a whimsical yet timeless aesthetic.
Her color palette was a soft and romantic mix of warm pink and peachy tones, paired with gentle yellows and ivory. To add contrast and dimension, we incorporated touches of lavender and sky blue, creating a palette as fresh and inviting as the summer day itself.
The morning of the wedding started with a little adventure—a boat ride on the lake! Julia’s father took her and her bridesmaids out on the water for some fun, setting the tone for a day full of joy and excitement.
The bridesmaids wore mix-and-match dresses in solid colors and patterns of yellow, pink, green, and lavender, creating a harmonious and playful look that paired perfectly with their bouquets.
For the ceremony at the Integrity Hills Chapel, we designed whimsical floral ground arrangements to complement the space's natural beauty. The designs were intentionally organic, making them feel as though they were blooming right from the earth. After the ceremony, these stunning arrangements were repurposed for the reception at the Stables, gracing the head table and the cake table. This thoughtful reuse allowed the florals to shine in multiple settings and added a cohesive touch to the day’s design.
Julia wanted the head table to be the centerpiece of the reception at the Integrity Hills Stables. She dreamed of a setup that felt full, dreamy, and magical. To bring her vision to life, we lined the table with countless floral bud vases. The addition of thick candles, provided by the couple, created a cozy, ambient glow that beautifully highlighted the blooms.
One of my favorite moments captured by Melissa Hailey was a scene of the Bride and Groom surrounded by their closest friends, laughing, and celebrating together. You can truly feel the warmth and love in the space—a testament to Julia’s wish of creating unforgettable memories for their loved ones.
