Colorful, Garden Party Summer Wedding in Downtown Springfield, MO

Catherine and Jeremy's colorful summer wedding in Downtown Springfield, Missouri is one to save to your favorite's list if you love all-things-color!

Catherine dreamed of a bright and lively summer garden party and was inspired by all things Rifle Paper Co. (one of my favorite brands!). Her bridesmaids wore bright, light blue dresses which contrasted so beautifully against the coral, peach, and pink tones in the bouquets.

We curated the colorful, textural flower composition to include luxury garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, hydrangeas, delphiniums, scabiosas, and many more that we sourced locally from our Springfield flower farmers.

The couple's ceremony was at the downtown Christ Episcopal Church. The chapel is full of ornate details and gives a nod to medieval architectural influences.

The reception was at downtown Springfield's premier venue, The Veridian. The historic charm brings a fresh amount of character to the celebration. We adorned the guest tables with a combination of matching flowers in bud vases and intentionally designed the head table to be the main attraction featuring a lush garden party centerpiece.

The table numbers and seating chart signs were thoughtfully and intricately hand-painted by the mother of the Bride.

We added fresh foliage bundles to the drapery pillars to tie in the botanical elements around the venue. And don’t miss the wedding cake - it’s as floral-lush and "garden party" as ever!
