Amanda was inspired by the song The Painter by Cody Johnson for her wedding aesthetic and experience. The song goes on to say…
I don't remember
Life before she came into the picture
Brought the beauty I was missin' with her
Showed me colors I ain't never seen
She took chances
With every wall I built, she saw a canvas
I thank God every day for how He made her
My life was black and white, but she's the painter

Amanda’s favorite flowers are peonies. We used those luxury blooms, as well as garden roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, and orlaya in her bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets. In loving memory of the bride's father, we attached a photo brooch pin onto her bouquet.

The ladies got ready at the Bridal Suite, Cedar Creek Spa, at Big Cedar Lodge. The wedding makeup was done by Airbrush by Andie, and hair styling by Kayle Mitchell.

A radiant and stunning bride! She's ready for her first look with her groom!

With Amanda’s vision in mind, the personal florals and ceremony florals were white blooms with greenery. Everything was classic black and white themed to embrace the lyrics “My life was black and white…”

The bridesmaids wore black, classic gowns, which paired beautifully with their timeless, white bridesmaids' bouquets.

Their ceremony was at the Chapel of the Ozarks at Top of the Rock in Southwest MO. The all wooden chapel overlooks Table Rock Lake, with views that will take your breath away. The floor-to-ceiling windows highlight the natural landscape, with an oversized cross in the center.

We lined the aisle with fresh white rose petals to bring additional romance to the chapel and softness to the wooden floors.

In order to bring the front of the chapel to life, while also not taking away from the scenic view, we designed three floral ground arrangements. These classic and natural, all-white and greenery florals grounded the ceremony space and the cross, while keeping the view and the couple the main focus.

Soft string melodies filled the chapel.

Amanda's mom, Rita, walked her down the aisle. Their bond is so strong and I'm honored to have witnessed their beautiful relationship.

That just-married feeling! YAY!
Also, a peek at their welcome sign, designed by Shop Reverie Decor, at the chapel, adorned with a floral ground arrangement. Originally, the sign and florals were outside of the chapel, near the front doors, but the wind was too strong and relentless (that's what can happen on top of an Ozark mountain), so we moved it into the foyer.

The side view of the Chapel of the Ozarks; so majestic!

Amanda changed into her reception dress from Calbet Couture for sunset portraits and dinner. The dress detail is so amazing!

Cocktail hour was outside, overlooking Table Rock Lake, and the infinity pool at the End of the Trail Wine Cellar.

Guests were greeted by this custom seating chart sign designed by Shop Reverie Decor that read “My life was black and white, but she’s the painter”. The florals helped communicate this transition of life feeling black and white, to life being in full COLOR with the person you love.

The lounge space, overlooking the iconic "End of the Trail" Native American sculpture (originally designed by James Earle Fraser) was adorned with lounge furniture and colorful florals. A relaxing space to unwind, connect, and chat with their closest people.

As Amanda and Daniel entered the End of the Trail Wine Cellar, they were greeted with vibrant, colorful, and noteworthy floral designs on every table, with a grandiose floral arch serving as the pendant of their sweetheart table and the venue.

The joy and surprise on their faces is everything!

Allie Rose Events was the mastermind behind the day, planning every detail and making sure the bride and groom, along with their family and friends, experienced the best day ever. She’s so good at what she does! I always love working with her and creating unforgettable wedding experiences for our clients!

Tears of joy! Designing florals for our weddings and events, isn't just a job to me--it's a calling and a passion and I'm forever grateful that my team and I get to be a part of our clients' most memorable and celebratory day! I'm so honored.

For the reception flowers, we purposefully used the same types of blooms as the bridal bouquet, but intentionally with color, along with additional blooms, to pull in a heavier, romantic garden theme. We used peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, delphinium, larkspur, butterfly ranunculus, and more to accomplish the color story we wanted to tell.

The “wow” statement floral arch highlighted the sweetheart table, where the bride and groom sat and enjoyed their dinner.

The floral arch was something that I planned months in advance, creating a digital mockup even (see below), to make sure the design felt purposeful and planned, as well as extremely pleasing to the eye.

Knowing this arch would be the main floral feature in the venue, I wanted to make sure it felt pleasant to view. So I went with the idea of color blocking flowers together, and pairing specific contrasting colors together (for example: yellow and purple, peach and light blue). Pink was a primary color so I kept this as shades of pink; light, medium and hot pink.

With so many colors, flowers and textures involved, I knew the arch needed a strategic plan to keep it from feeling overwhelming or chaotic. Without strategy, it could’ve easily felt messy, or thrown together. All that behind-the-scenes planning on my end made all the difference, and I’m glad to say that it came together better than I imagined, and better than my digital mockup.

For the guest tables, lush floral centerpieces paired with hurricane battery-operated candles and complementing floral bud vases, served as a beautiful tablescape design.

I love the way the bright yellow, light purple, pinks, peaches, and light blue make the venue come to life! The Big Cedar Lodge wedding coordinator said that she has never seen the End of the Trail Wine Cellar this colorful and bright! How fun it was to bring such joy to this space!

The table closest to the windows, where the family was seated, featured a 25-foot, statement garden-party floral runner that seamlessly “waterfalled” down both sides of the table. It was a continuous design that astonished the guests and caused them to think, “Wow, how did they do that?” It was one of the talks of the night!

With such grand, oversized harvest tables, I knew the floral design needed to match their scale. The floral runner installation was 12 inches wide and 25 feet long, built with full depth and whimsical movement throughout.
My team and I poured so much care into bringing this entire piece to life, and I couldn’t be prouder of the final result. I’m obsessed! It was a true labor of love, balancing creativity with careful planning and logistical problem-solving. I always love a good challenge!

How fun is this garden party floral design cake by Charity Fent Cake Design!? She always creates beautiful art-worthy cakes, and this one is in my top favs!

The civil war cannon booms as the sun sets and evening begins.

Here is what Rita, the mother of the bride, said after the wedding, “Absolutely Stunning Floral Designs! I cannot thank Charity enough for making my daughter’s wedding day so incredibly beautiful. From the very first consultation, she was attentive, creative, and truly understood our vision. The flowers were nothing short of breathtaking—every bouquet, centerpiece, and arrangement was thoughtfully designed and expertly crafted.
Walking into the venue and seeing the floral setup for the first time was an unforgettable moment. The colors were vibrant, the blooms were fresh and lush, and the designs added the perfect romantic touch to the entire day. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous everything looked!
Beyond the beautiful arrangements, Charity was a dream to work with—professional, responsive, and always calm and reassuring throughout the planning process. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and it truly showed.
If you’re looking for a florist who combines exceptional talent with genuine care and professionalism, look no further. He Loves Me Flowers made our floral dreams come true and helped make my daughter’s wedding feel like a fairytale.”

I’m so thankful to Amanda, Daniel, and Rita (MOB) for trusting me with their special day, and giving us the opportunity to create a floral experience that not only blessed them and their loved ones, but blessed me and my floral team. I’m so grateful.
Cheers to the dream team who made it all happen!
